Atuned to the nature of all that surrounded them, our ancestors learned from the wisdom of the creatures who preceded them. Great is the guidance still to be gained from our memories of the Inner World Animal Helpers who linger yet.

The Birds and Fish are far older than we, and their legends may aid us still. Their finely-tuned instinct allows them to perceive and know differently from us.

Our Shaman ancestors appreciated the wisdom of the Salmon and the omen of the Raven.

So may they aid us too, while the hundred wings of the Bird of Paradise bless us as we approach the entrance which it guards.
