Bergerac

Bergerac, one of the major former ports on the river Dordogne, is a bustling market town on the "Chemin St Jacques", the medieval pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella in northern Spain.

The église St Jacques is in the old part of the town. The fête de St Jacques is celebrated on July 25th.
